Hi everyone,
The community has been working on a draft for the BNB Greenfield Storage Provider Standard, an initiative aimed at ensuring a high-quality, secure, and reliable decentralized storage network. This network consists of two layers: the blockchain and the storage providers (SPs). The goal is to provide enterprise-level services to users. The community outlined minimum service quality standards and storage provider protocols that SPs must follow.
To supplement these standards, it also offer an official implementation of the SP protocols. This includes resources for developers who might want to use the official implementation, extend it, or even refer to it to customize their own solutions.
This is a great opportunity for us to ensure that Greenfield standards are comprehensive and relevant. The community would appreciate your feedback and discussion around these points. You can view the details of the standards here (link). Everyone is particularly interested in feedback on the scalability aspect, API specifications, universal endpoint, and the minimum service quality standards.
