# Announcement: Hash&LevelDB mode will be discontinued after September 30, 2024

## Description

Most of BSC Geth nodes have been running with PBSS&Pebble mode for several months, and we decide to officially suspend the support of Hash&LevelDB mode for BSC geth client after September 30, 2024.  
If you are still running BSC nodes with PBSS&LevelDB mode, it is highly recommended to change to PBSS&Pebble mode before the time.
